Firing appliances for rotary drum furnaces

TÜKI has been dealing with development of various custom designed firing appliances fuelled on natural gas and oil for rotary drum furnaces of cement industry, lime kilns, alumina production, nickel enrichment facilities etc.

The appliances are assembled from prefabricated module units. Nominal capacity of the mentioned firing appliances is in the range of 8-60 MW. Each burner type has gas electric ignition burner. The ignition takes place with the help of remote control in using natural gas, or in case of oil firing by PB gas.

The flame length of both oil and gas flame can be manually adjusted. The capacity control of burners is continuous and carried out through remote control from the control room.

In case of natural gas burners the detection of flame by both ignition burners and main burners is accomplished through air-cooled UV scanner. The oil burner has double flame detection. The ignition burner has ionisation detector, for the main burner UV system scanner has been applied.

The burner is furnished with safety control automatic, ensuring the starting and shut-off both the ignition and main burner as well as performs the control of all the required firing conditions too.

Burners are supplied with full-required armatures from gas and oil-side.

For fastening and eventual side moving and horizontal tilting of the burners of more than 10 meters length, a construction of car has been applied which performs the putting in and withdraw of the burner. It is able for placing of the primary air ventilator too.
