Because of the given
technological circumstances additional operations related with iron and steel
foundries need individual design solutions (preheating of casting form,
ceramicisation, preheating of casting mould). Beside the elastic way of
operation and the special charging TÜKI also worked out an integrated burner
unit for thermal disposing of combustible components, released by the
ceramicisation process.
TÜKI also manufactured
various gas and oil fired zincing furnaces. Application of high impact burners
ensures uniform heating of the bath of zinc having 8 meters length in spite of
small number of burners. The Company also developed a drying unit integrated to
the zincing furnaces. The construction of this unit ensures intensive heat and
mass transfer.
In addition to smelting,
heating and heat treating operations, other facilities were also developed for
degreasing, oxidising, drying technologies. For uniform heating up of pieces of
3-5 m length a shaft type furnace was developed provided with special
controlling of 15-30 burners.
In order to standardise
the parts a special developing strategy was worked out which is featured the
matching of prototype furnaces to the special technological demands by minimal
risk.
