Heating furnaces for the steel industry

For hot working of steel TÜKI has developed various

• chamber type furnaces,
• walking beam furnaces,
• rotary type furnaces,
• slot type furnaces.

By these mentioned furnace facilities the built-in modern recuperative high velocity burners are ensuring rapid heat transfer, efficient heat utilisation, economic furnace operation, reduced noise level and low NO_x emission. By the scale-free rapid heating a multi stage firing has been realised, resulting in this way further reduction of NO_x emission.

By furnaces having small working chamber can be advantageously applied radiant burners featured by special geometry of burner block.

By batch type furnaces the utilisation of refractories and insulation materials featured by small heat capacity can lead to significant energy saving.

In case of all these mentioned furnace facilities unified basic principles are applied by using of control and instrumentation from simple and safe solutions to the sophisticated systems.
